St. Andrew the Apostle

St. Andrew the Apostle, also called Saint Andrew, was the first called of the apostles of Jesus. He is the brother of Simon Peter and is a son of Jonah. Andrew is said to have been martyred by crucifixion at the city of Patras in Achaea, in AD 60.
