St. Prosdocimus of Padua

St. Prosdocimus of Padua is recognized as the first bishop of Padua, Italy, and is one of its patron saints. According to tradition, he was a disciple of St. Peter the Apostle, who sent him to Padua as a Christian evangelist. During his mission in Padua, he converted many to Christianity, including St. Justina, who is also a revered figure in the region. His episcopal leadership laid the foundation for the Christian community in Padua. St. Prosdocimus is remembered not only for his evangelization efforts but also for the miracles and healings attributed to him.
